I agree we need to make the limit more flexible. The current
implementation supports the lowest common denominator,out of all the
services gwibber supports. It doesn't take into account what each
account you have configured can support. The character limit is just
one of many things affected by the need to support many services. I am
targeting this feature for 3.2.
