After rebuilding akonadi-googledata in my PPA for Natty I was able to sync contacts and at least send calendar updates to Google, so I believe that the rebuild I uploaded will get it working at least somewhat in Natty (on maverick I could sync contacts but had zero luck with calendar, so this is progress).
