This bug is still present in Ubuntu 10.10 when installing via non-English UI (I used the Russian one). It is reproducible when installing Ubuntu inside VMware Server 2.0.0 (i.e. at resolutions 800x600 or less). The attached picture shows the screen with an invisible lower part of the dialog (fortunately the vital UI elements are still visible). This dialog is shown correctly in English UI.
