I tried to reproduce and on the initial screen I couldn't, http://people.ubuntu.com/~alanbell/u1services.png however on clicking the install button for the desktopcouch-ubuntuone package the screen grew scrollbars http://people.ubuntu.com/~alanbell/u1settingssync.png so I think it is the content pane at the bottom to do with additional sync services which is unnecessarily wide. My screen size is 2048x1152 and that is the default size of the window that opens. There is nothing wrong with the size of the window, just the content of the additional services pane is a few pixels wider than it should be to provide the optimum user experience.
