This is hugely dependent on both hardware support and for the kernel
driver to support it... In any case, nothing in NetworkManager touches
MDI.
In other words, if Auto-MDIX is not working on your system it is likely
that it's not supported, but since I don't *quite* know how to check
that and there may be an issue at the driver level, I'm reaffecting this
bug to the 'linux' package.
