Starting Screenlets from the dash will actually start two programs: Screenlets Daemon and Screenlets Manager. If you close Screenlets Manager, daemon still keeps running.
So you shouldn't think that names Screenlets and Screenlets Manager are inconsistent. The first one names the whole Screenlets framework on user's system. The second one names the manager for Screenlets, which is started to indicate to user, that Screenlets framework is running and waiting for orders. If you choose Quit Screenlets from appindicator/tray menu, Screenlets Manager and Screenlets Daemon both and all the individual screenlets are terminated. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/747810 Title: inconsistent naming for screenlets -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
