Sure the screen is black? My ASRock 880G Pro3 MOBO will boot to UEFI for 11.04.2 beta2 on CD or USB but most of the time it goes nearly all black screen with only 2 to 4 mm visible at top of the screen. It will boot correctly after updating the software on the board maybe once in 20 times with CD, once in 5 with USB.
