Public bug reported:
I have a Compaq nx6110 (Intel 915 graphics controller) hooked up to an external
monitor which can go up to 1280x1024. Some time recently, the default
configuration lowered the second monitor's resolution down to 640x480. After
trying loads of stuff I fixed it by adding a line under the device section:
Option "VideoRam" "64000".
Ideally that should be calculated by the driver based on the desired
resolution, bit depth, options etc.
** Affects: Ubuntu
Importance: Undecided
Status: Unconfirmed
