Michael, thanks for your answer. It means that the problem is solved from Natty on. So a solution for you would be to watch out for the "Update to Natty" button in the Update Manager (from tomorrow on) and as soon as it appears, click it and do the update. It is only one day away from today.
There are many fixes in Natty and I have no idea which fix solved your problem. Evince and its graphics library, Cairo, got improved, many bugs in Ghostscript got fixed, and for the HP inkjets, Ghostscript got even replaced by Poppler. So many changes happened. In addition, there can be a font problem on your system which is not present on the clean live CD system. The latter is a good candidate as this bugs has neither duplicates nor votes of other people suffering the same problem. If you plan to update anyway it is not worth to do further investigations now, but tell if the problem persists after the update. In such a case try also removing and recreating your print queue. If then the problem still persists, we need to do more investigations (or you do a clean install of Natty then). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/719555 Title: hp photosmart 2600 pdf strange output -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
