Since there's not really been any notable testing work done on this bug
report in over a year I'm closing out the bug.
Unfortunately, upstream is limiting support for i865 chips and it's
definitely true that there are stability issues. I think it is probably
best if issues with i865 be reported upstream at bugs.freedesktop.org.
