Thanks for your report.
I'm rejecting this bug, since the package compiz-extra-gnome doesn't
exist in Ubuntu, so we can't avoid this issue.
If you remove compiz-extra-gnome, then you'll be able to install compiz-
extra, which will probably have the plugins from the other package.
