Public bug reported:
For a reason, which I have not been able to replicate, when I log off of
my Ubuntu 6.06 admin account, to log in to the limited account (which I
have only limited through the Alacarte Menu Editor and user settings)
ocassionally the screen gives me diagonal lines mostly white, light grey
& green- somewhat like a static screen on a TV. There is no way to make
this go away exept with a restart.
I am using a Gateway E-1400 with a Celeron processor & a Dell LCD.
The display adapter is an Intel 82810-EC100.
Every setting works just fine after Ubuntu installation exept for this
issue.
