Seeing as we'll upload a new snapshot of ModemManager in Ubuntu as soon
as Oneiric is open (and Natty already has a recent commit with some
extra patches cherry-picked); I'll close this as Fix Released right
away. It's not *quite* true, but we already know about what needs to be
done.
I'll go ahead and suggest you to get involved in the NetworkManager team
which also handles ModemManager; if you're interested in participating
in preparing packages there's always work to be done there ;)
