As you can see from the graph, there are two regressions for a lot of the workloads. This is shown by the three clusters of consistent results. The first is between 2.6.34 and 2.6.35, and the second is between 2.6.38. Note that this is looking at the kernel as the variant on an Ubuntu 8.04 base install.
