Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: update-manager

The upgrade failed while configuring the packages. Running
dpkg --configure -a
manually gave:
dpkg: Fehler: Parsen der Datei »/var/lib/dpkg/status«, nahe Zeile 13185 Paket
»kde-plasmoid-cwp«:
Unsinn hinter Wort im Feld »priority«

The priority was set to "low" for kde-plasmoid-cwp (and only for this package)
in /var/lib/dpkg/status. I changed this to "optional". After starting "dpkg
--configure -a" again it ran through and configured lots of packages but there
are also lots of dependency problems. Most of them seem to be related to
python. E.g.:
hplip : Hängt ab von: python (>= 2.7) aber 2.6.6-2ubuntu2 ist installiert

When I try to install the new version of python I get this:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
libpango1.0-0: Breaks: plymouth (

I'm stuck at this point.
I didn't make a reboot yet as most probably my whole system is broken now...

VERY ANNOYING!!!
