I had the same problem in my tecra s3 trying to install 5.10, then everything was ok with 6.10 and I've had the same problem again with Feist. Now I have gone back to 6.10 and everything was ok. But I'm afraid I'm not expert enough to try what Osmeest suggests. If anyony could detail all the steps to be taken I'm afraid I won't be able to upgrade. Thank you.
