I confirm the bug on an eeepc 1000H.
Definitely a regression, this machine worked quite well with maverick.
And very bad too, since on netbooks like this one the battery only lasts for a
few hours, at best 1 day in suspend.
Furthermore, the disabling of gnome session in natty makes it compulsory to
restart everything when the machine is switched off.
