My netbook ASUS eeepc 1000 reports the message "Battery may be broken" at login with Ubuntu 10.04, 10.10 and 11.04. I've also upgraded the kernel to 2.6.39 but this is not resolving the problem. I notice that leaving the Ubuntu on and full discharging and then charging the battery changes the reported total battery capacity a little bit.
