Did a fresh install of Natty and things are better. So there was something wrong with my upgraded system.
Now I can see my calendar entries. But I do not have the GAL. In first session it tried to cache all 40000 entries and crashed. After that it tries to open and then says "The Evolution address book has died unexpectedly...". Iit seems to die after variable number of contacts (35 000 - 37 000) found.
