Same thing here, the resize grip is really messy for any application having a resizable window without a status bar. The resize grip is not taken into account when placing widgets, so it will hide them. In web browsers, it will overlap the lower button of the scroll bar. In Code::Blocks, it will overlap some buttons. In Gimp, it will hide information at the bottom of the toolbox, even though the tool box is not resizable!
In Google Chrome, it will also hide the bottom button of the scroll bar and appear in blue, it is really ugly. Affects many mainstream applications, this really looks unprofessional. I would rather have no resize grip than these resize grips. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/767142 Title: Resize handles spoil almost every application -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
