Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox

Ubuntu version: Natty upgraded from Maverick
Firefox version: 4.0.1+build1+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.11.04.1

What was expected: Only one Firefox window shown in the Gnome window
list while opening a link to a new tab.

What happened: When opening a link from another application, for example
gnome-terminal, the web page starts loading in a new tab. Unfortunately,
the Gnome window list shows another Firefox window while this loading
process is in progress. After the web page has loaded, the window
disappears from the window list. This didn't happen in Maverick.

Notes: I use the Ubuntu classic Gnome interface. Firefox is set as the
default browser.
