That's quite unfortunate. 1. Checking free disk space should probably happen earlier during the process. 2. Why is so much space on /boot required?
I have total 30MB space on /boot and no unallocated diskspace to migrate to. (knowing that /boot will host a couple of kernels < 2MB each, and yes an initrd.img for each kernel, approx. 6MB.) What is feisty trying to store on /boot? /boot should be the smallest possible partition to get the kernel running, right? Is it possible at all to install feisty on a system with 30MB /boot? -- 7.04 Distribution Upgrade Installer aborts with "Not Enough Free Space" error. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/107858 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
