Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: dconf

Reproducable.
Install dconf-tools. Open dconf-editor. Go to /desktop/unity/launcher. Click on
applications string to edit. Window stretches all over the screen. User needs
to drag the window in order to scroll and be able to view the last value in the
line. Also the case with fullscreen.
Expected: To view or edit open a new window where one can add or unmark a value
easily, e.g. like gconf-editor (screenshot).
Compared to gconf-editor dconf-editor is a step backwards. Not sure, maybe it's
possible to take code from gconf-editor and rename or add values from unity.
