Public bug reported:
This may well be a duplicate of bugs 108221 (PS/2 mouse port not working
with SiS chipsets on Feisty), 95305 (PS/2 mouse using DIN adapter not
working in Feisty) or 93254 (usb mouse doesn't work in feisty).
The point is, that Feisty has been launched (20th April) and these bug
reports have apparently been ignored.
Trying out Feisty only to find that:-
(1) the PS2 mouse does not work on the same machine that it has worked on in
all previous versions of Ubuntu
(2) the PS2 mouse does not work in spite of the fact that various bug reports
have been submitted
- is VERY DISAPPOINTING to say the least!
This is fundamental! I suggest that Ubuntu look into it ASAP in order to
preserve their good name.
