Have tested on Ubuntu and Windows with example.xhb and budget appears correctly. Therefore, I would sugegst that there is a usability issue to do with the way that I am using the budget feature. I will investigate further to work out the difference between the example file and my data file to see what is different, and whether any additional details are required in the user manual.
