Sorry Sabastien, I just followed the prompts from Ubuntu and let it do it's stuff. After a good bit of online research I found the fix to the issue. Seems that for load/speed purposes I long ago changed the repository source to a more local server. This will not work for upgrades apparently, you must change your source back to Ubuntu main. Still working on getting sound to work for the LE1600 - it has built in speakers but no sound...
