That’s not enough, since sun-java6 doesn’t use ca-certificates-java even if the latter is installed. ca-certificates-java generates a certificate store at /etc/ssl/certs/java/cacerts which is used by openjdk-6, but sun-java6-bin ignores that and provides its own hardcoded certificate store at /etc/java-6-sun/security/cacerts.
