Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: conky

When displaying a calendar within conky using a simple code like:
${font DejaVu Sans Mono :size=9}${execpi 60 cal | sed '1d' | sed 's/$/ /' | sed
's/^/ /'}${font}
...it will display 2 underscores and blocks right before the current day
number. The screenshot below provides the exact outcome. This issue did not
happen with Maverick, and updating to the latest conky hardcorde does not help
either.
This issue is being discussed here:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1746073 where a screenshot is also
provided. I've also attached one to this bug report.

** Affects: conky (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
