Public bug reported: Binary package hint: kile
Starting Kile from the terminal, I get the following warnings: KGlobal::locale::Warning your global KLocale is being recreated with a valid main component instead of a fake component, this usually means you tried to call i18n related functions before your main component was created. You should not do that since it most likely will not work kile(20641)/kdecore (KLibrary) findLibraryInternal: plugins should not have a 'lib' prefix: "libkonsolepart.so" The first one, as I understand, is a missuse of KGlobal in kile (cf. http://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=64&t=93738) The second one, I have no idea. I don't see any problem in kile, except that it is in English, when my LANG is set to fr_FR.utf8 (and kde-l10n-fr is installed) ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.04 Package: kile 1:2.1.0~svn1112278beta4-2ubuntu2 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.38-8.42-generic 2.6.38.2 Uname: Linux 2.6.38-8-generic i686 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Architecture: i386 CheckboxSubmission: dde7aa8fd900cd9d547f3e5c1a1a7547 CheckboxSystem: d00f84de8a555815fa1c4660280da308 Date: Tue May 3 10:02:42 2011 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/kile InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS "Lucid Lynx" - Release i386 (20100429) ProcEnviron: SHELL=/bin/bash PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=fr_FR.utf8 LANGUAGE=fr_FR:en SourcePackage: kile UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to natty on 2011-04-28 (4 days ago) ** Affects: kile (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 natty running-unity unity-2d -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kile in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/776190 Title: Kile KGlobal missuse -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
