Thanks for the logs. Please revert Xorg from xorg-edgers to the version from the official Ubuntu repository. You can install ppa-purge to help you with this.
There seems to be a problem with libgd2-xpm but I don't have enough information to find out what. If you still can't upgrade after reverting Xorg, please attach an archive of /var/log/dist-upgrade including _all_ the files and subdirectories.
