For now we don't quite know exactly where the issue is. I've still
reproduced the open tasks for both MM and usb-modeswitch, just in case.
Could you please try to reproduce the issue and then attach the full
/var/log/syslog file after doing so?
It would also be useful if you could paste the output of "lsusb" so we
know which IDs to look for for the device.
