It should be noted that setting the “low” profile (as suggested by “echo
low | sudo tee /sys/class/drm/card0/device/power_profile”) is not
guaranteed to actually work at all.  There are a large number of cards
which cannot drive a monitor correctly with the lowest clock settings.
“medium” should be regarded as the lowest profile that's certain to
work.
