If you mean the "kde-356-pre-feisty-upgrade" directions, no.
PEBKAC error. I missed that instruction entirely.
The updates I *did* install were two items that were waiting in
the daemon when I started the machine that evening. One of them
was a Daylight Savings Time update as I recall. Immediately after
that, I was presented with the upgrade option.
