Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: hplip
HP_3055 Connected through netgear router, works great in Windows and Mac OS X,
but have tried Mepis and Ubuntu/Kubuntu and this is the first time I got a test
page but sill very flaky performance for such a basic task. I'm very
disappointed. On the bright side you finally have been able to defeat the
JMICRON issue which is why I have kubuntu installed in the first place. I hope
I can print, am seriously considering making the big plunge into Linux full
time but cannot in good consciousness do so without being able to print. I must
go where the printing is stable and am considering, PCLINUXOS, Mandriva,
Zenwalk, and even Fedora have been making great strides with this JMICRON issue
but am still dedicated to Ubuntu since they have been such a mover and shaker.
Keep up the GREAT WORK GENTLEMAN! I SALUTE YOU! FAREWELL AND KEEP A STIFF UPPER
LIP!
