I upgraded to Natty in hopes that issues with the realtek driver would be resolved. Unfortunately, the intermittent connections persist. I have now switched to using ndiswrapper with M$ Windows drivers. I now have no problems with my wifi connection. The problem seems to lie with the native linux driver.
