Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: octave3.2

Octave failed
$ octave --eval "inv(rand(300,300));"
with the error message
  panic: Illegal instruction -- stopping myself...

I'm using Ubuntu 11.04 on 'Intel(R) Pentium(R) M processor 1.50GHz'.

Do you have any tips to resolve this?
