Performed a distribution upgrade from 10.10 to 11.04. Received a black screen
with kernel 2.6.38-9
with external monitor "Samsung" 1929x1080 connected.
Previous kernels on my system including 2.6.35-28, 2.6.32-25 etc., all boot
fine, WITH OR WITHOUT "acpi=off".
