Actually I'm still running Ubuntu 10.10; I was trying out Banshee 2.0.0 and ran into the notification area issue. It found the report on launchpad while searching for a solution, and added my "vote", but I was in a hurry and missed the part about 11.04. Sorry. I just installed 11.04 on a different partition but haven't had a chance to really try it out. I'll check to see if Banshee has that problem in 11.04.
