FWIW I am seeing this same problem using a final release cd (alternate
i386). Running vgchange -a y manually I can see:
~ # vgchange -a y /dev/raid
Rendezvous with udev timed out for 'raid-music'; stat failed: No such file or
directory
The error message repeats for each partition, but eventually it does
work.
