Well, it seems that we have more problems here. They will never end, will they.
Anyway, here it is:
I close the lid and the computer suspends. I open the lid and press any key or
the power button to restore it. It either
1.Show me a window asking me to input my password. In this case I type my
password CORRECTLY but I get an Authentication failure message and the computer
just blacks out and I have to restart it by pressing the power button down for
few seconds (which I know it's dangerous) OR,
2.It blacks out immediately after the resume.
In either case, when I reboot I have no sound and I have to press the hotkey to
increase the sound volume just ONE TIME and the sound is restored to maximum.
All this is pretty odd.
Anyway, I'm posting the terminal output of the ls /sys/class/backlight/ command
without booting with the i915.alse_backlight=1 parameter. Here is the result:
intel_backlight
I 'm rebootin now to insert the parameter.
Please investigate into what I've written above. It may be another bug or
something.
