It can't be a network issue for the following reasons: 1. The issue does NOT arise when I boot into Windows (on the same machine)
2. The issue DOES arise when I boot into Ubuntu 11.04 both at home and work/university 3. I have NOT recently changed any firewall settings (hardware or software) and yet those very same sites were accessible only a few days ago (as was my work/university VPN) I suppose it could be a configuration on my side, or a recent update. If there are no other reports of this nature then the latter seems very unlikely. However, I'm at a loss to understand what configuration change I have made that could have this kind of effect (I haven't any in the past few days that could AFAIK). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/778985 Title: Unable to access certain login pages via Firefox and Chromium under Ubuntu -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
