@Glennz, comparing Brasero to Firefox or LibreOffice isn't fair since the apps you mention are in a different league to Brasero.
There are generally two types of apps that the average computer user will interact with. There are apps such as Firefox, LibreOffice, Banshee, etc on which they spend the majority of their computing time either working or playing. They become familiar with these apps to such an extent that they prefer to use them over others similar ones. The other type of apps are support utilities, like Brasero. Most people don't burn CDs/DVDs on a regular basis, it at all, and are unlikely to have developed an attachment to their disk burner they way they have with their web browser. In this situation, it doesn't really matter to them with the thing is called, as long as it does it's job. Think of it this way - you care about the names of your colleagues but not the name of the driver of the bus you're on. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/691482 Title: Brasero Disc Burner > wrongly named -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
