Patch attached. The manual fix is to edit:
/var/lib/python-support/python2.5/PythonCAD/Interface/Gtk/gtkmenus.py
In line 341 change:
_fname = gtkimage.getFilename()
to:
_fname = gtkimage.image.getFilename()
