Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: unity

Hi,

unity launcher's icon size is by default 48x48 and can be changed with
ccsm between 32x32 and 64x64.

However, 32x32 is still too big for my taste. I prefer the size the
launcher icons have under gnome. Given the fact, that unity, in contrast
to gnome, uses a shorter launcher bar (because limited to the vertical
instead of horizontal space), it easily gets larger than the vertical
screen size and then runs into that highly annoying mode where it keeps
moving the icons up and down dynamically.

Please allow a minimum size of about 16x16 (or like the gnome launcher
icons, which, btw., can also be adjustet to smaller).

regards
