** Summary changed:

- Translations are not handled correctly in inkscape.desktop
+ Translation domain is added to incorrect group in inkscape.desktop

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: inkscape

- Inkscape is in the main repository component and (as I understand it) a
- couple of things need to be fixed with translations in the
- inkscape.desktop file.
-
- 1. Add the X-Ubuntu-Gettext-Domain key under the [Desktop Entry] group.
- This is appended to inkscape.desktop by "debian/rules install".
- However, a recent patch to the desktop.in file (LP: #676886) is now
- applied by dpatch, which adds a new group to the desktop file. This
- means that the translation domain key is added to the wrong group in the
- file.
-
- 2. Strip all translations from the desktop file and add them to the
- translation pack. This does not happen at present. Take a look at the
- installed file, and there are several translation strings present.
+ The X-Ubuntu-Gettext-Domain key should appear under the [Desktop Entry]
+ group in inkscape.desktop. At present, the key is appended to
+ inkscape.desktop by "debian/rules install". However, a recent patch to
+ the desktop.in file (LP: #676886) is now applied by dpatch, which adds a
+ new group to the desktop file. This means that the translation domain
+ key is added to the wrong group in the file.
