you have to have bcmwl-kernel-source from 10.10 installed, the 11.04 version is broke. Download it from: http://packages.ubuntu.com/maverick/bcmwl-kernel-source After you download it, remove 11.04's version from repo, I usually use synaptic to search for it, then install the 10.10 version (You don't need to bcmwl-kernel-source's dependencies from 11.04, those are fine). After thats installed, go back into synaptic, find bcmwl-kernel-source again and this time, select it, and goto "Package > Lock Version" to prevent it being upgraded back to the broken natty version.
