Hi Charles, thanks for your report. Do you have "Cdrom with <version
number> '<version codename>'" checked under the Ubuntu Software tab?
Unchecking this should prevent it from prompted you for the disc.
Are you trying to use the USB drive as a repository in the same manner
that you would use the install CD as a repository? I believe that if
you insert the flash drive, it should work.
