I don't use kde, but I have some QT apps.. which pull phonon, kdebase, and knotify as well.
This never happened before. But I have a possible clue --- stopped (pulseaudio -k) and started(pulseaudio --start --log-taget=syslog) the pulseaudio server, because it was failing to notice new audio devices Was that caused by some sort of phonon's "new audio device found" message or something? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kdebase-runtime in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/736453 Title: knotify4 uses 100% CPU despite not Qt/Kde apps being in-use -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
