Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: apmd

I have a Shuttle XPC SN41 nForce2. Under Windows XP suspend and hibernate both
work fine.
Under Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, not so much. Depending on the BIOS S1/S3 settings the
hibernate and
suspend options appear in the menus.

But, the machine seems to turn off rather than suspend (the power light
does not blink). On resume I get a white screen with flecks of black.
While there are occasional blips of the HDD LED, that's it.

** Affects: apmd (Ubuntu)
