Chromium-browser 11 does not start. Upon disabling, setting the profile
to complain it starts and no more problem. So I figured it's a profile
problem. Got on my terminal and aa-logprof the apparmor logs to edit the
profile. The log is clean. No entry.
The actual error message is:
pcilib: Cannot open /sys/bus/pci/devices/0000:00:00.0/resource: Permission
denied
I set the chromium-browser profile on complain for now. But the profile
is good. No apparmor audit log entry complaining about anything. I am
uncertain if this is entirely an apparmor bug or a kernel bug or
something else.
I said this because Empathy is behaving like this too. The Empathy
profile is an old one so I am surprised that it wont start because of
its apparmor profile.
